In February 2025, Danny asked locals if they remembered the BMX track next to Wetherby Racecourse which had fallen into disrepair since it's construction in the 80s.Â
Since then, he has led a dedicated group of volunteers who have helped shape the track into what we see today.

Charlie joined the BMX project in June 2025 after being asked to create a logo which included a nod to the 1980s heritage of the track.
He is responsible for the smooth running of the 'Friends of Wetherby BMX Track' group, ensuring information is up to date and taking notes during any volunteer meetings.
